From time to time when I am running certain programs the calculator appears
all by itself. I am running Windows XP professional with service pack 2 (I'm
not sure if it came as one, as I had a friend build it, and he may have
installed sp2 afterwards)
I was running a demo of Call of Duty 2 today, which not only opened
calculator in the background but also Windows Media Player. This is a first.
But it has led me to believe that these programs might be reacting to some
combination of key presses.
In the case of calculator, there is no one program that seems to have
introduced this error and it seems to appear randomly, i.e. sometimes it
appears when I run messenger for example but other times it doesn't.
It is EXTREMELY unlikely I have a virus, I will check, but if there is any
other reason please suggest it.
