Can the form fields in word 2000 be calculated into other form fields in MS word. Example : can a Text1 field value of 1 be added to a text2 field value of one to show the results in the text3 field?

James,

Yes it can. Double click of form field 1 and format as a number, check
calculate on exit. Do the same for form field 2. Double click form field 3
and format as a calculation. In the expression field type text1+text2

Yes. In the Form Field Options for Text3, choose Calculation as the type.
Word will enter an equals sign. Type your calculation after that
(Text1+Text2). Be sure to check "Calculate on exit" in the Form Field
Options for Text1 and Text2.
