Cached Intranet Document not Updating

I have an intranet that contains various company templates
and documents for my employess to download.

Some employees are having problems getting the most recent
version of documents because they have a cached copy
located in the %userprofile%\local settings\temp
directory. When the users click the link on the intranet
to download the document the old cached version opens not
the new version.

How can I fixed this? I've tried changing various
Internet Explorer settings but have not found anything
that works.

It seems like most of the computers with issues are
laptops. All machines are running Windows 2000
Professional.
 
I'd a similar problem but with Internet files. I got a
solution from Chris. Press the Shift and then refresh the
page, you'll get your new document.
