The short answer is no. You need a compatible decoder box. You must pay
for the service. This is a public newsgroup; and is openly monitored buy
microsoft personnel who donate their time to help in this forum. A piece of
software that would decode the cable signal would be illegal, as well as
immoral. Cable theft is a federal offense in many areas. You go to jail.
You get fined. You become a documented felon. You lose your right to vote
while you are incarcerated. It is not worth it.
