Seems the past few days my internet connection timesout when surfing
the web...my cable modem is blinking the light next to where it says
cable...only lasts for several seconds or longer and then it works
fine...maybe this happend because I have Suddenlink...or
Seldomlink...anyway is there I way to prevent this from happening
again? If not I'll just live with it.

Hi
If you have one computer and it connected directly to the modem the best
would be calling your ISP.
Otherwise describe you network and the hardware involved.

well I am on xp hooked up to a toshiba PCX11OOU cable modem...I am
sure suddenlink is giving me the prob, since they suck 98.9% of the
time...I'll email them if it keeps happening...or if someone else has
any ideas..

Tighten all splitters and connections. If that does not help, ask
the ISP to check your RF levels.

everything seems tight...tried to get help online with Suddenlink, but
the guy in the live chat said he couldn't help and that I had to call
tech support....uuuuugh...I ner had any luck calling tech support...if
I am lucky 1 out of `00 might actually know how to help...when Cox
switched over to Suddenlink, I had more problems with my digital cable
and internet...last time I had to call them about my digital cable,
some woman I was talking to who was getting me a refund kept me on the
phone for almost an hour talking about the high price and
disadvantages of a satellite dish...would unhooking the modem for 30
secs to reset it help? just a shot in the dark...might not though...
