Cabinet corrupted?

Elve

I have posted my problem already some days ago.
Got no response, therefor I try now again with another
subject name.

I have tried to upgrade from IE 5.0 to IE6.0 SP1 in
Windows2000 SP3
The download seems to be OK but during installing the
following message appears: Extracting file failed, most
likely caused by low memory (low disk space for swapping
file) or corrupted Cabinet file.
My RAM is 128MB, I have increased the swap file from 193MB
to 300MB. This did not help.
What can I do about the cabinet file?

Let's go with the corrupted cab file. It is safe to delete the folder \WINNT\WINDOWS UPDATE SETUP FILES and to get rid of the
corrupted cab, do so and then reattempt setup.
