Does anyone know what this file is on my c: drive, I right clicked to open
it and then it appeared on the bottom of the c: drive folder list and
created itself with a .xml file name.

Please submit a sample of "1efaf7f9-9b3a-4df3-9c7e-084e550c67fd.cab" to Virus Total --
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html
The submission will then be tested against many different AV vendor's scanners.
That will give you an idea what it is and who recognizes it. In addition, unless told
otherwise, Virus Total will provide the sample to all participating vendors.
