please help with this error i need to know how to fix this i know where it
came from but i cant get to startup or anything i just need to find a way to
make the computer useful or just know that its shot

More info is needed, is this a blue screen windows stop error? and at what
time in the boot process does it come up? one suggestion is to perform a
repair install.
Do you have the XP install CD?
