I was hit with a virus on my windows xp home laptop. The
virus software was 2 months behind updates. I got it
updated, and found I had been infected with
"W32.SoBig.F@mm" a fairly rare virus. It was contained
with the updated software and the virus software cleaned
all but one file... C:\Windows\Winppr32.exe it is still
infected. How important is it? Can it be downloaded and
reinstall after the infected file is deleted? can you
help on this question? Is it available on the web site?

Winppr32.exe is not part of Windows XP. You dont need the file at all.

That is the virus itself, so you shurely don't want it....
