C:\windows\system32 opens at bootup

Hi,

Reinstalled ms xp pro sp2 on new hd and after ms updates & apps install,
a separate window opens up show c:\windows\system32 at start up. any
ideas how to stop the window from opening up?

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by an
incomplete program removal, in the:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.
