my computer is on the verge of crashing, and i had hardly any memory left, plus i'm getting massive amounts of popups (while IE isn't open) and i'm getting explorer and msn errors, plus my task manager won't open. i'm listing the files and folders (but not the specific files in the folders) and i was hoping if someone could tell me which files are bad files, and hopefully you can also say if i'm missing vital files too.

Its not as simple as deleting bad files, if your PC is in that bad a state, a format may be best? Just back up your important items and start again.
