c drive view open

this bugs me, everytime i open windows explorerto view the contents
ofmy PCthe C drive always shows everyfolder ie the plus sign is opened
(so to speak)

How can I set so the c drive is closed?

Each time i do this I have to click the minus to close the drive view
asall my data in on D

Its just a niggle

If you right click on My Computer, then click Explore, this c drive will not
be open. Or you could create a new shortcut on the desktop pointing to
this: C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e,c:\,/select
That will open explorer with no drives open, and may be a little faster then
right clicking anything. If you don't want clutter on the desktop, you
could move the shortcut to the Quick Launch toolbar.

Yes you are absolutely correct. however I am in the habit of using
Explore on a right click on the Start menu.
