Bypassing Group policies

Hello Everyone! I have users bypassing their mandatory profile
settings as well as the group policy setting. They authenicate to the
server, and as the "Applying personal settings" runs, they yank the
patch cord from the machine. This ends up giving them a local
profile, and they can see and have access to the local harddrives. I
have set in the policy to log them off if roaming profile fails, to
wait for profile, and to deleted cached copies of profiles. All of
which did not change my problem, any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. My first thought is to lock the all users on the local
machine, but this is a logistical nightmare. I am dealing with over
1,000 pc's. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Since the employer owns the machines I'd tell them that the next idiot that
does what you say there doing will be fired. Period. Why screw around with
employees that think the machines are 'theirs'?
