Buy fax software or use built-in software?

Hey,

I was looking to buy fax software, but then I realized that Windows XP (and
I assume other versions of Windows too) has built in faxing software. Can
anyone think of any reason why people would pay for software that's already
built-in?

It seems like fax software writers are selling a lot of copies...but I don't
see what the advantage is.

Is it just better reliability that you like, or are there more features in a
separate program?
