Kathy

I am wanting to make a family web page. I have no idea how to do this and
would like to know if anyone could recommend a free or inexpensive program
that would help me to do this.

Thanks
Kathy

Download a free HTML Editor. No strings attached. This is the editor I am
using.

Check with your Internet Provider how much space is allowed on the server to
install your pages. Also what are the instructions and location of the
server.
Some provider have instruction on their sites.

Unless you want to use FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to move you file to the
server you can you a 3rd party software the facilitate this.

I use CuteFTP, there are others.

Your local library should have some books on HTML elements used to create
the file.

1st Page Editor listed above has a help file also that can help your learn
them.

One way to learn also is to look at the source code of a simple web site and
check the various function for the TAG the are always in this form
<FONT ...> land must close it with </FONT>
