Business contact manager has error, shuts down outlook

I have had no problems in outlook and currently not using BCM. After the last
update was applied, when I startup outlook, I get the error box while it is
loading that BCM has encountered an error. I send the error report, turn off
option to restart BCM and outlook terminates.. The next time I startup
outlook, I get the msg box to bring it up in safe mode... same error message,
same result. The 3rd attempt gives me the option to repair and re-install...
same error, same result. I have removed office sbe 2003 using 'add and remove
programs', rebooted PC and re-installed from the discs... same error, same
result. It's been 4 days with no e-mails. Anyone have any solutions?
