BurnMax 48 freezes on track #7

My Polaroid BurnMax 48 freezes on track #7 when copying a
music CD. This occurs whether I copy from another player
or to and from the Burnmax. I must then restart the
computer in order to remove the new CD from the recorder.
This has only been occcuring since I installed the unit
in a new machine. The old machine was an Hp Pavillion
running windows ME and the new machine has a Gigabyte MB
and is running windows XP. I use Roxio 5.3.5.10 - the
latest update.

Off topic: Roxio is now on version 6, so 5.3.5.10 is not the latest!

5.3.5.10 should work. Have you tried reducing the write speed?
