I have a brand new gateway m350s notebook with windows medai player 9.0 and
windows xp home. I am having difficulty burning cds that will play in my
car. The cds I have burned will play in my home system but in my car they
skip, is there a reason for this and some way I can remedy it? Thanks!

Burn them at a slower speed. 12x should be fine. Certain drives, such as car
players have problems with the discs reflectivity if they are burned at too high
a speed.
