burning

Okay... I download music on either iTunes or WMP and to play it it sounds
fine. Once I burn it onto a CD, the playback is choppy and I do not know what
to do. I am wasting CD's! This is driving me crazy! This computer is only 1
month old. Any ideas?

What Software are you using and what Format?
Go to the OPTIONS section, select RECORDER and then view the sampling rates
etc.
I personnally will only burn in WAVE format and 16 bit min. Some software
gives you an option with which type of closing.. UDF (not sure the names, I
am at work) for most stereos or two other selections that are good for
Computer use only or some other type of Stereos. Pick the format that is MOST
Universal and experiment using a CD-RW so if you screw up you can reburn.
I am sure your problem can be solved in the OPTIONs section of the
RECORDER....

Thanks Craig, I will try this and let you know. Last night I defraged and it
burned, but only will play on the laptop, and not in my car ( which is
compatable with CD-R and RW. Thank you!
