Burning text onto a CD

give step by step instructions? How to burn text onto a
CD-RW? Thanks very much

Use CD as the search criteria.
The Pick a task will show you "Copy Files and Folders to a CD"

Depends on what software provided with your new Windows XP system.
Suggest you read the documentation that was provided with the machine,
and look for the CD Writer software in particular. Read the "Help" file
that is associated with that software. If you continue to have
questions, call the vendor from whom you bought the machine and find out
where they provide instructions.
