I need to know how to record multiple episodes of tv shows that are in mpeg
or divx format to DVD. Basically I have 8 episodes of Sopranos in
HDTV.XVID.LOL format which is supposed to be great picture, but in order for
me to play these in my DVD player I must convert them to DVD format. This
has been done and each episode in DVD format is about 1GB in size. I find I
am wasting too many DVD's by burning only one episode on each disk. Is there
a way I can burn 3 or more episodes on a disk therefore utilizing the whole
disk space? Please advise.

thanks, Tim

Illegal. No help here.

How is it different from copying to video. As long as its for his personal
use it shouldn't be illegal. If it is, all video recordings must also be
illegal.

I would say it should be quite possable to burn 4 episodes onto each dvd but
a standalone dvd player might only see the first episode. They would have to
be played back on a computer and outputed to TV. Although it might be
possable to join each episode together to make one big file then burn that
to dvd and just stop and start it wherever you want.

I'm sure one of these ways is possable I just have no experience of doing
it. The other thing you could do is burn to DVDRW and just erase when you
are finished and re-use the discs. Three ways to look into.

Sorry, just re-read your OP - I read "multiple episodes" and
immedaitely thought "multiple copies". Silly me. :) :)
