Want to convert almost any type of DVD to play on your iPhone? here is an easy way I've used many times. Works just like a charm. Step-by-step instructions as follows:

Tool you need: cucusoft DVD to iPhone Converter

Step 1. Free Download the latest version of cucusoft DVD to iPhone Converter, and install it on your computer.

Step 2. Run it and click the first button on the right. Select mode, "Direct mode"(default) or "Batch mode".
Note: The difference between Direct mode and Batch mode:

Direct mode enables you to rip the DVD into one whole file; while the Batch mode will meet your needs when you want to rip your DVD by chapters into separated output files (for example your music DVDs, TV Episode DVDs), just ticket out the titles you want to convert and click convert.

Step 3. Put the DVD disc you want to convert into your PC DVD-Rom.

Step 4. Click "Open DVD" button on the main screen or choose "menu>File->Open DVD ", to load DVD.

Step 5. Choose the output format from Profile’s dropdown, encode speed, and select destination for the output folder. Please set it to your hard disk.

Step 6. Click around in the DVD's menu to set up DVD playback as you like, select the subtitle and audio tracks, check the box to decide whether you want to start to record from video start point or from current time point, set the output file size and then begin to play the movie through the software by clicking play button.

If you'd like to change some parameters like 'output format', 'video bitrates', 'frame rate', 'audio bitrates', please click 'No' button to close the window. Note: you can also click "Convert" button to start recording when the movie is played to the place you want.

Step 7. Import the output mp4 file to your iPhone.
Enjoy.

Many iPhone users chose it for its handy and fast converting features. You can learn more features HERE.

Hope these can be helpful to you.
