Burning CDs - Please Help!!! (Windows Media Players)

I have been having trouble burning cds and continue to get
an error message saying "cannot copy files to recordable
disc - #0xC00D11AB"

The files appear to start copying by CONVERTING then the
first song starts to COPY but stops at 3%, then brings up
the above error message.

I have been able to burn some CDs and not others??

I have tried all of the troubleshooting tasks and would
appreciate some advice.

Are all of the songs in the same file format? In other words are they all
.mp3, .wav and so on? If files are being converted from one format to
another that can sometimes cause cd burning software to crash. Are the cd's
formatted properly?

If the OP is trying to convert audio files on the computer to CD audio
(for use in any regular CD player), then the CD better not be
formatted!
