I have been running Microsoft's Spyware Beta 1 now for
three months or more. It has NEVER found the first
spyware, but Adaware always finds some (14 today) and
Spybot finds some (9 today) AFTER Microsoft's Spyware
tells me there's no spyware there.

I'd like to report this failure to provide any protection
back to Microsoft, but I can't find any place to send
feedback on the Beta 1.

Any suggestions?

This is the place to provide feedback--thanks for doing so!

However--lets look more closely.

A not-too-widely advertise fact of the current beta builds is that they do
not scan for cookies. There's a stat for this in the list, but you'll
notice it is always zero.

The other products that you note do scan for cookies (and data miners, which
is a type of cookie)--and describe them in threatening terms.

So--check out those detections, and see whether any of them are NOT cookies,
and see how that comes out.
