Bulleted items do not display correctly. Instead of a disc, or square or
other chosen bullet, latin characters display instead.

What do I need to do to get regular bullets to display once again?

In Internet Explorer, when I display a page with a bulleted list, the bullets
display as latin characters rather than discs or squares or
arrowheads...whatever. It doesn't matter what web page I view, the bulleted
lists display incorrectly.

Consult the Help Files, manual, or Tech Support for whatever specific
word processing application you're using; this isn't a Windows issue.

Ah! That's a key piece of information missing from your original post.
Consult the designer of the affected web page(s) to see what fonts you
need to installed, in order to view their web pages as designed.
