built-in firewall in xp home sp1

for some reason i am unable to turn on the built-in
firewall in win xp home sp1 for my network connection,its
like its not part of my system anymore, i see the option
where you're suppose to select it but its faded and im
unable to click the check box, please help, many thank
for any help

Don't use the inbuilt firewall. It doesnt do the job half as well as a
proper third party firewall like zonealarm. Click this link to go start
