I'm trying to install a program called Style XP and it will install fine and
all but once it goes to activate itself so that the program can run an error
messege comes up saying it cannot activate style xp and that style xp only
runs on certain builds of windows xp. What does this mean, how can I find out
my build and/or change it? Thanks a ton

Hi

You can see which version of XP you are running by either typing the
following from Start>Run

winver

or by right clicking on My Computer and selecting Properties.

You should uninstall it and look for a different program. Style XP is a
known purveyor of spyware. Uninstall it then check your computer for
spyware. See the following links for more details on Style XP (read the
comments and reviews) and how to rid your computer of spyware.

Go to: Start>Run>type WINVER and press OK.
That will show you the Build number. You cannot change it.
