Buggy hidden text display and print behavior

I have a paragraph style called "comment". I can show or hide "comment" text by changing the font style of that style to "Hidden" (I even have a macro to do it). However, when the text is hidden and I scroll around the document, paragrahs and graphics will often be drawn incorrectly. Lines, paragraphs, and graphics will display multiple copies in places, usually where the comment text would have appeared. When I print, some lines also overlap. Extra spaces before tables appear where there shouldn't be any (even more space than the spce the comment text took)

Is this a known issue? Is there a better way to easily toggle a specific paragraph style on/off for display and printing

Thanks in advance

I've never heard of this before... Which version of Word are we dealing with?

Have you tried upgrading your printer and graphics card drivers? This is often necessary when you switch versions of Word.
