Bug of search of XP

I could not visit the correct file when I use XP search
Menu from the Start Menu.

For example, I want to search the file which include a
string, but window XP just provides me the word type
document, the *.doc files which include the key word I
want to search for. But actully I want to search the files
with suffix ".txt" that include the key word. In fact, the
files with ".txt" suffix exist in the folder I searched in.
So I am surprised with this bug.

appears to change the Persistent Handler for .htm files(I didn't run it just
downloaded and looked at it, if I'm mistaken just say so) but the link to
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/tips/xp_bad_search.htm
from your same page says not to change the Persistent Handler if it already
exists, which in my case it does(and it's different). Please explain.
