Bug - Daily Report Window

B

Bob

Noticed a small problem. Didn't see it mentioned here.

In the options, I have unchecked the "Show daily report"
or whatever the actual item is called. ( Sorry, away from
the actual machines that run it.)

The problem is, they still pop up each and every day.

This occurs on XP SP2, W2K3 Enterprise, and W2K AS

All three boxes are also participating in the WUS beta and
all three are completely up to date, with all recommended
updates applied.

Thx,

Bob

PS. Please don't reply to the emaill address directly
until after 9 PM Eastern. I need to make sure that email
is accurate. Can't check from work.

Thanks, for the report, Bob--I believe others have also mentioned this
behavior.

Bob,

Are you referring to the scan pop-up which states that no spyware was found?

Bill, Sorry, looked for it, but missed it.

Steve, now that i'm front of the machines, basically Yes,
that is what I'm referring to.

To be clear, heh, just in case:

Options, Settings, "Spyware Scan"

"Scan Settings" item, uncheck the "Display the scan
results window after a spyware scan."

I still see the results popup on a daily basis.

Sorry if it has already been reported!

Bob

I'm not complaining--just noting that you aren't alone in seeing that
symptom. The FAQ isn't perfect and nobody can read all the stuff posted
here.
