Bug Reports :-(

Well, I installed Beta 2 a month or so ago, it was pretty buggy, so I
raised a shed load of bug reports using the reporting tool.

Over the last week, I have had lots of notifications of some of these bugs
being resolved. 2 Problems with this.

1. The link in the notification I don't have access to :-(
2. I can't any newer builds to actually confirm the bugs are fixes :-(

This whole MS Connect is a total farce. They are happy to accept bug
reports, but then lock future betas to their very select crew of
"Technical Testers".

You only have access to that info if Microsoft thinks that you are "special".
I have only received one email about the bugs reports I have filed. One out
of about 7-8. And that was them saying that they closed it issue. I
understand them closing that one, I figured it wouldn't be repeatable. But
the others? I wouldn't mind some kind of reply. Oh well. I'm still happy.

I've done so and got the reply that they are looking at it, who knows
what might happen. For (slightly more info) see the thread "Beta

So how does that make Connect a total farce.

Because invites to programs seems to be random, not based on how active
and accurate your bug reports are. Despite the fact I raised loads of
decent bug reports ( I am a developer myself, and have poorly written bug
reports sent my way each day), can I get on the Technical Tester team?
Nope.. Can I even see the details of the bug reports I raised that MS
have fixed, despite the URL in the notification email? Nope...

Does anyone at MS care? Nope...

is correct:
