bug check/unwanted shutdown/save memory dump

I now have two systems both of which appear to be more
unstable than windows3.x. At any given time the system
shuts itself down and reboots. At my wits end. Help!!!
 
First go to control panel---system and change the error recovery procedure.
(Don't reboot on error) Then when the error occurs you can research it. Don't
forget to look in the event log.
