BSOD's Need Help

I have formatted and reinstalled Windows and since then have been getting
BSOD's all of them different the last one is 0x0000004E PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
I have ran memtest 86 and no errors were detected, ran hdd scan no bad
sectors, ran monitoring software and the highest my CPU heat was, was 50
degrees C on a AMD processor, now I am lost for fixes, could it possibly be
memory but the software is no picking up the bad module, I did run the
memtest 86 to 3 passes.
I did upgrade the psu 6 months ago

thanks

3 passes isn't enough to trap some errors with memtest86, you need to
run it overnight for a better result.

Well, I've run each 512MB module for 46 passes over 10 hours and all came
back ok, so I guess the memory is good. is there anything out there to test
video card and maybe power supply? I want to eliminate all hardware before I
start swapping out the motherboard.

Clayton there are diagnostic tools out there to test hardware, maybe
some one will recommend a useful free one. I use Micro 2000's diagnostic
suite [not cheap] in conjunction with a multimeter and or a power
supply tester to test PS's for correct voltages.

You can also D/L HDD diagnostics from the manufacturer to eliminate
the HDD, another option is to swap out the graphics card, or wind
back graphics acceleration and see if it settles down before
purchasing a new MoBo.

One more thing, are both RAM modules identical ?, sometimes this can
create the issues you are seeing.

I have tested the HDD and that's ok, the ram modules are identical, I might
swap out the psu and video card and see what happens, if I am still having
problems, then will format and reinstall again before replacing the
motherboard.
This all started with a config error on startup saying the file is corrupt
which lead me to format and reinstall, I was in the first stages of
installing XP when I got another error, I can't remember what the error
message was, been so many of them and I replaced the CDRom drive and it
continued to install ok, then 2 days later started having all these problems

Also make sure your install disk is OK. If it is a copy, sometimes a copy
isn't up to par. Try the original if you have it. I always make copies of my
originals of everything and use the copies. I have found copies can be bad
and cause all kinds of errors during install about corrupted files or
missing files. The same kind of error messages you get when you have bad
RAM.

If you can, try to use someone else's CD to install and at least this way
you will know if it is your CD or not and then go from there.
