Geting a BSOD that says: Unexpected kernel mode trap. knowledge base is empty. trying to fire a program that worked fine. all we did is change ip configuration from static to dhcp, and ran Windows media player. changed ip config back to static with old values, and proggy locks up. when attempt to shut pc down, this message pops up on BSOD. Help!

Possibly a driver variance on the program, maybe something was overwritten
during an update that was at another time. Sounds like the program is not
unloading from memory or something like that. I would try uninstalling it if
that is what seems to cause the error. After uninstall see if you can
reproduce the error w/o the program installed. Then reinstall and test.
