BSOD on shutdown

I get a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE BSOD on shutting down my PC.

I have read some of the Microsoft articles which seem sufficiently
offputting for me to consider reinstalling windows and painfully
reinstalling all of the applications I have.

Is there any shut-down logging software which will detail the
unloading of drivers during shutdown?

Why isn't it as simple as that to find the offending driver - or is
it?

Would appreciate any help.

Many thanks for your post. I managed to isolate the offending
drivers. Greatly appreciated.

I have tried a few times to post this thank you but Google Groups
seems to thwart me every time!
