BSOD - memory problems

Hope someone can help me...

I'm getting blue screen of death errors after booting up system.
Generally these:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

chkdsk has repaired quite a few errors.

The machine has now been off overnight, and I've been into msconfig
and switched off all services & startup options, then rebooted. There
were only 13 processes running. after opening several apps (IE, Word,
Messenger, etc) BSOD again.

I've read it might be CPU overheating, but i've just switched the
machine on and within a minute got the error.

I've also read it might be a driver but if thats the problem how do i
track down which one?

Could it be faulty memory/hardware?

Thanks in advance...
Ian.

I dont think its related to any particular application. after booting
up the machine i opened IE several times and got my BSOD. rebooted,
left it for 10 mins without error then opened Word several times BSOD.

If the machine can boot to the desktop, right click "My Computer" go to
"Properties". On the System Properties box, click the "Advanced" tab. Click
settings in "Startup and Recovery" box. Untick "Automatic Restart" check box
and Google for the Bluescreen codes and see what comes up. Repost here.

As you have been advised post the complete Stop Error reports! and don't
assume you have memory problems!

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Right click on
the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select Properties, Advanced,
Start-Up and Recovery, System Failure and uncheck box before
Automatically Restart.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure. Check for variants
of the Stop Error message.

Why are you assuming you have memory problems!

Read the following Documents to get some ideas about the problem.
