I am installing Windows XP and towards the end of the installation I got a
BSOD referring to the atapi.sys and beginning dump of physical memory.
Is this telling me my HDD is faulty or CD Rom? I formatted the HDD with a
Win98SE bootdisk and there were no errors?

thanks

I have tried reinstalling again a few times and everytime a different BSOD
message, from data pool, irql not less or equal and PFN list, also tried
installing XP with another HDD and CD Rom and still getting BSOD messages,
could it now be a faulty motherboard or ram?

thanks
