Browsing Trusting domains

I have a two way non-transitive external trust with
another domain. I can't seem to browse it to allow its
users access to any of my resources. I am in need of
assistance please help if you at all have any ideas.

Browsing (of server lists) is unrelated to trusts -- after a
server is found, authentication/permission is likely needed
to see the share list.

Browsing between domains is a WINS issue since browsing
is a NetBIOS application and broadcasts only work for this
in the same subnet and same domain.

You need a single WINS database with all of the machines
(including servers) as WINS clients. Setup one of more
WINS servers (that replicate) and specify these on the
NIC\IP\Advanced\WINS properties of each machine.

I have a tendency to answer emails at all hours of the day;
when I was at MS, I answered so many and at such odd
hours that some people believed there was no "HerbM"
but rather a HerbMBot. <grin>
