Hi,
I use XP professional and am experiencing problems whilst browsing the net
and I think it is due to the user profile settings. Heres the story so far:
Purchased a new computer for work which came with the master user profile
already set up. Everything worked fine.
Set up an additional user profile so my partner could use the system.
Logged on with my profile (the master one) to browse the net and system
restarted after a couple of minutes browsing. This has happened EVERY time
since I set up the addtional user profile - it sometimes lasts for 10
seconds or 10 minutes before it restarts itself. Just before it restarts
itself I get a quick message saying: Message - No Signal.
When I log on using the additional user profile I can browse trouble free
for as long as I want. The only problem is is that I can not download
anything using this profile.
I should let you know that I am a novice. All I want to be able to do is
remove the additional profile I set up and just use the computer myself (and
not have to log in everytime I switch it on).
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
