Browsing on internet

Through my travels I am forced to change the way I get on the internet quite often and it is always a chore with corrupt win soc and all now I am able to get on line but can't browse anywhere on internet explorer. has anyone had this type of problem before and what did you do about it. I am using a old version of XP and updated it just before leaving. everything worked just fine before 2 days ago just changed from a wireless network to a dial up and the problems began again ?????????????? Help

could be the registry keys for tcp/ip are corrupte

go to start run type in cmd and ente
at command prompt type in the followin
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.tx
