Browsing files on VPN

When I make a VPN connection I just can browse files with the IP address for the server, even with the DNS IP address configured on the VPN adapter
How can I configure RRAS and/or DNS server to brose files by name

you are probably missing the dnssuffix. try to browse with the fully
qualified domain name. like

computer.domain.com instead of computer
