Browsers using javascript link problem

I am using Win XP SP2, and something has happened to my system (auto
update enabled).
None of my browsers now will open any javascript links. I've tried the
latest IE, Netscape, AOL Browser (an IE like browser), and FireFox.
None of these will open a javascript link. It just says Done in the
status bar and the page is blank, or nothing else happens. For example,
if I go to www.autozone.com, select the Shopping link, it will then ask
you to fill in zipcode, with a Go button. When I then fill in the zip
code, in the bottom left it says:
"javascript:processZipCode()" . Clocking the Go button does nothing.
Please help. TIA.

Hi,
Since all browsers are affected, try disabling third-party security,
privacy, ad-blocking programs. Many of these programs are capable of
blocking scripts, scripting, active content. Before disabling a third-party
firewall, turn on the Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall.

This article *may* help with IE, but I suspect that another program is
blocking Javascript:

Hope this helps,
