Problems with Javascript pages

I can't open pages that opened by Javascript open commands. my browser sits
there. This happens with Netscape also. anytime I click on a control and a
javascript command appears in my status bar but nothing happens to the page.

Please try out these steps

Download Java Virtual Machine from the website provided below:
http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Install Java Virtual Machine in Windows. Reboot and try accessing websites
once again using Internet Explorer.
