Suddenly my browser just gets the "Page Cannot Be
Displayed" message. It seeks the site, says "done", then
displayes the above message. I am sure I am connected to
my ISP, but the computer can't ping it. Coincidently, the
email gives the message, "server can't be found" with
incoming our outgoing mail.
I have done the following: (1) checked ISP accounts for
accuracy, (2) Reloaded both the email program and IE, (3)
did a system restore, (4) Restored the C drive from an
earlier image. (5) much more less obvious.
I have a second computer sitting beside this one and
connected much the same and it works perfectly, so I
believe the problem is not with the ISP or connecting
cables.
