browser window size

when I open IE, I want it to open in a "maximized" size.
It always opens "minimized." How can we change that?
 
Open a single IE browser window, and maximize it. Then, in that window menu
bar, hit File/Close while holding down the Shift key. This usually works.
Unfortunately, Windows tends to forget the setting after a while, so I just
run a program called IE Maximizer, which is way cool and free:
