Browser unable to open a new link / pop up window

Not sure when was the problem first started. Normally, when i click on the link that open up a new window, it will. Recently, I just found out my browser (IE 6 SP1) can not do that anymore. A new window will pop up, and it will try to load the page, but the page will never come up

I have window XP Pro SP1. Because of this, I need to go to another computer to open "this window" to post this question

What can I do to fix it? Please help. Any suggestion will be applicated

Pop-Up-Stoppers can cause this problem. It happened to me. It took a while for me to figure out. The Pop-Up-Stopper program that I have running on my pc requires me to hold down the CONTROL key to allow a "pop-up". If you have a pop-up-stopper program running on your pc check it's HELP section. It should tell you how to allow a pop-up.
