Browser Size in IE6

When I right click on a link and chose 'open in new window', I can't
get it to open in 'maximum' size. Any solutions anyone? In Win 98 I
used to able to do it by manually maximising the new instance and
Windows will remember the size but not so in WinXP. I will appreciate
any help or hints.

Drag the window using the double arrows to full size, then use File/Close.
