Browser shuts down

When I click on some links my browser closes. No
warnings or error messages. It just closes. Sometimes
it also closes any other browser windows I have open as
well. Does anyone have any ideas?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

I have both programs already installed but I updated and

ran them again. It didn't solve the problem.

At least try CWShredder and HijackThis, post the HijackThis log as
instructed (not here).
