Eric, I have the same problem, except my IE points to site
Z. My browser settings have been modified behind the
scenes, whenever I go to a web site that does
not exist (i.e. mistypes whatever).
I have reinstalled Win 98 2nd edition, IE 6 sp1, multiple
Anti virus packages.
The Netscape browser works fine.
I have cleared cookies and history in the browser; I have
performed anti virus scan, an Ad-Aware search, which
revealed no hidden spy programs.
Reset internet options to default.
Where is the setting that is causing my browser to be
redirected??!!!
Thanks,
James
