Browser problems

The Internet Explorer 6 browser keeps closing by itself
with an erro message. Or sometimes it just freezes up
without any instructions. I found a temporary solution to
this problem: Through "Windows Task Manager" and
Processes, I end all IEXPLORER.EXE processes. But
obviously it's really annoying because I have to find the
websites I closed out of. Does anyone have a solution to
this?

First eliminate any scumware.
